WHAT’S THE EXPERIENCE LIKE?

1) Welcome at the estate and historical description of these lands, ancient Cenaia’s settlement and visit the 11th century church represent the first part of the tour. Inside of the church is preserved a valuable holy Family painting of an uncertain attribution. In the front of the medieval settlement there is the renaissance Italian garden with female statues and Villa Valery under restoration;

2) Visit at the wine cellar/shop and/or J63 Brewery Handcrafted with the description of the wine process production and quality of our wines. We reserve the possibility to visit also our J63 Brewery Handcrafted with brewing process and the description of all our beers;

3) Carriage tour inside our five hundred hectares of natural and hunting reserve which, seasonally, is possible to see the vineyard, olive oil trees, migratory birds and wild animals who find the ideal habitat to stay. During all the year, men work constantly in the vineyard to taking care of the rows to obtain the best from the grapes, so they can see the different step of plant growth with the particularly attention on the main agricultural grapes process. The visit continues on the ancient cypress road boarded with typical Tuscan landscape arriving to “Casone” building and nearby the white vineyards of Sauvignon-blanc, Chardonnay, Trebbiano and Vermentino. This last type of grapes is our Estate trademark;

4) Shopping time: At the end of the tour our guest have the possibility to buy all our products and organize shipping for wines, beers and extra-virgin olive oil directly to their home.

WHAT KIND OF COOKING CLASSES?

Typical Italian sauces cooking class with wine tasting (4 wines): During the private lesson with our Chef, the guests will learn all the tricks to prepare and make three different Italian sauces and after they taste them with three different kind of handmade pasta product by us. Throughout the preparation and the lunch our staff organize the wine tasting with Cenaja Vermentino (white wine), Pitti Sangiovese (red wine), Torre del Vajo (red-supertuscan wine), Dolce Peccato – Passito (sweet wine) match with Cantuccini (tuscan biscuits with almond).

Pizza or schiacciata & cantuccini cooking class and wine tasting (4 wines): During the private lesson with our Chef, guests will prepare the dough for Pizza or Schiacciata (typical Tuscan Focaccia) and for the Cantuccini (typical Tuscan biscuits with almonds or chocolate drops). Both of them will be stuffed and baked inside our ancient oven for the lunch with our local products (mix of cold cuts and pecorini cheeses). Throughout the preparation and the lunch our staff organize the wine tasting with Cenaja Vermentino (white wine), Pitti Sangiovese (red wine), Torre del Vajo (red-supertuscan wine), Dolce Peccato – Passito (sweet wine) match with Cantuccini made by our guest.
